Q: Which cities will be covered by HSBC China Junior Golf Championship this year? Will the scale exceed last year’s? What else events will be included in this year’s program?
A: Junior Golf Championship will be extended to 6 cities for 6 stops this year. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Kunming will still be preferred as host cities, as golf development has reached a relatively mature extent in these cities. We will also consider some golf courses which are relatively new to junior golfers, to develop their adaptability under various circumstances. First stop in 2008 will be held in Wenzhou Orient Golf Club in 3 days time.
Q: What are the target players of HSBC Winter/Summer Camps? Which cities to hold the camps? What kinds of effects are expected?
A: We have various formats for Winter/Summer Camp this year, including popularization classes for kids who have never involved in golf activities before; as well as advanced courses for skilled players. Last year, we held 2-day popularization classes in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Kunming, drew in around 700 kids, which was well received by all parities. This year, we are planning to have popularization courses in more cities, and will give more systematical training to skilled players.
