Stand in front of and slightly to the left side of a ball washer. Hold on to the washer with an overhand grip, using your left arm. While maintaining a firm hold, bend your knees slightly and shift your weight to the left and back as if you were sitting. Maintain this postion for 30 seconds, feeling the stretch between your shoulder blades. Do the opposite for the right arm.
Stretch 4
Stand at address with your arms crossed in front of your chest. Next, slowly rotate at the waist, keeping your knees and hip still, as if you were performing your back swing. Once you cannot rotate further, hold the position for 30 seconds and slowly return to the start position. Rotate in the opposite direction to develop balanced flexibility.

The Windup And Delivery From Golf Swing Tips
Ball flight results from the interaction between clubface and ball during the impact interval of the swing, which is three quarters of an inch from start to finish. Logic suggests that we should spend a whole lot of our attention and training getting that right and it’s a bit of a mystery to me why we don’t hear more about it.
Our practice tends to have a lot of “hunt and peck” in it. However, if we view the golfer as essentially a catapult system to launch a ball in a direction, the entire procedure takes on a certain clarity and perspective. The catapult is grounded soundly and aimed at the target. Throughout the entire process of windup and release the catapult remains completely grounded. When correctly timed, the release arms which are hinged in the middle, multiply the release leverage created by the wound up body of the machine.
The golfer at address is the same. It’s as if he/she is lined up at the edge of a moat hurling golf balls at the castle doors until they yield. Basically, we start in that grounded posture, wind up against the ground, reposition for release and release with precision from the point where we started. We can make it very complicated if we want to but it’s relatively simple stuff that the body can figure out how to do if we give ourselves a chance. We start, we windup, and we go back through the start with maximum acceleration. We know that the arms and club hinged lever system wants to move away, fold and move back on closely identical lines. This means the grounded body from the feet to the shoulders wants to move in such a way that when the arms and club lever system reflect that motion they will move away and back on closely identical lines. So now it’s “Just do it”.
Experiment with your release posture paying attention to rhythm, timing, balance, speed and precision to see where you need to be to bring it all back together at the bottom. It will swing you if you let it. Move in quarter swings to start so that you can really focus on the contact interval. We need to be in total control of ourselves during these moments and that’s what I mean by sticking the landing. When we are in balance inside the swing, it all sort of takes care of itself around you. Zone work. The golf swing is a closed system movement in that it winds out from and then back through the same space. If we work on being smooth, stable and soft we will be most likely to deliver speed and precision through impact.

1. The increase in the cost of playing golf. Building longer courses to combat the increased length that TOUR PLAYERS hit the ball means more money for land, equipment and staff to maintain it, time to play it (meaning fewer starting spaces available for a green fee), and taxes to own it.

even for those wishing to play.
3. The competition from other youth activities impacts not only the kids who are potential future players but it also impacts their parents as well. When you have two children who are in youth sports (baseball, softball, soccer, etc.) and they are playing 90 games a year on a traveling team with mom and dad attending the games rather than out playing golf, you have some real competition.
4. The game of golf is not easy, and when you play it poorly you get discouraged from continuing. Too many courses have been built recently that seem to be trying to get in the Top 100 Most Difficult in America. Getting “beat up” every time you play one of them is not fun. My interpretation of a game requires that it have some element of enjoyability, in other words fun.
So hang in there while we get over this bump-in-the-road until we
